What is Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)?
EAL is an experiential learning approach, through activities in the presence of horses and a Facilitator, that promotes the development of life skills for educational, professional and personal goals. EAL sessions are suitable for all ages and riding experience is not necessary, as all exercises are carried out on the ground.
The development of valuable skills becomes much easier within the presence of a 550k horse, who offers egoless and non judgmental reflections to the human. Clients learn their individual strengths and vulnerabilities. It also has positive effects on blood pressure, personal heart rate, increased beta-endorphin levels, decreased stress levels, reduced feelings of anger, tension and anxiety.
People receive the reflections the horses provide about their leadership assets and limitations, habitual thinking and patterns, in a much quicker, direct and non-judgmental way, than just working with a human coach, therapist or consultant. Thus enabling significant transformations in the way they manage their reactions and relate to others.

My husband and I had a couple session with Mary in January 2019. We got to work individually and as a couple. I gained invaluable insights for myself and myself and my husband in this amazing work. Rather than just talking and figuring things out, I gained immediate, tangible insights, which I can implement in my life. I absolutely loved this very intimate work with another being, a horse, under the guidance of Mary, who works with amazing integrity, presence and focus in a wonderful location. I would do it again any time”
“We worked as a couple and got down to our core issue. I felt empowered, energized and confident afterwards. In a luxurious environment Mary was professional with clear boundaries, yet warm and emphatic. An extraordinary experience with horses and with Mary as facilitator, that still works on me. Thank you! “
“The sessions with Mary and her horses were more impactful than I had expected. I have always loved horses, though I’ve never ridden. As I had never done anything like this before, I didn't really have any expectations around what might be gained, and was very pleasantly surprised at the experience. I gained a lot of insights in a very short period of time - much more so, I think, than if I had spent the same amount of time doing standard coaching. It was also a relaxing and soothing experience, and unexpectedly - a lot of fun”
